Same amount, different coins!
Part of our money unit includes learning how to show the same amount in different ways. For example: two dimes and one penny is 21 cents AND four nickels and one penny is 21 cents. We discovered this while counting groups of coins. Today we are working with a partner to show three different ways to make 43 cents, 29 cents, 88 cents, and 51 cents.
