Today we had a very special guest - Mr. Allen! Mr. Allen is from N.C.A.D.A and is here to present a very important program called "Caring for Classmates." We are very lucky to have Mr. Allen and his program - only a few classrooms at Concord get the chance! Today we talked about how EVERYBODY is special and it's important to give ourselves and each other PUSH UPS. A push UP is the opposite of a put DOWN.
Today we brainstormed different things that make each of us special. Mr. Allen gave everybody homework for next week - ask mom and dad to help us think of two more reasons we are special.
