Writing Checklist

Right before Spring break we started our fiction unit in Writer's Workshop. These first graders have some AWESOME imaginations! Their stories are very creative and everyone seems to really enjoy our new unit!

When we write, we have to remember A LOT of things - capital letters, punctuation, order words, dialogue, nO mIxInG lEtTeRs, a beginning, middle, and end, and MANY other things! To help us, we have started using a planning/editing/revising check-off page when writing our fiction stories. Check it out below!
