Friday Fun!

Happy Friday Fantastic First Grade Families!

We had another super day in first grade! As you can tell by our morning message, we ALL like first grade! 😀


Today we read a really great book titled The OK Book. In first grade we do A LOT of learning and A LOT of growing - both of which involve mistakes and failing. AND THAT'S OK! Today we read all about the OK man and all the things he's not so good at. Even though he isn't great at everything, he still tries and has a whole lot of fun figuring out what he IS good at. We have some brave first graders who try things like ice skating, rollerblading, and cartwheels even though they are just OK at them.

We also met with our 4th grade buddies in Miss McNamara's class this morning! We had a ton of fun getting to know each other!
